Yohanan Danino began his career in the Israel Defence Forces in the Paratroopers Brigade, after which he joined the Israeli Police. In 2011, he was appointed the 17th Chief of the Israeli Police and served for four years. He has led the Unit for International Crime Investigations and the Police’s Southern Command, among other posts.
Danino is Chairman of the Board at HART Digital, Together Pharma, and is on the Advisory Committee of Black Cube and SOSA. Previously, Danino served as Chairman of Migdal Insurance Company, Senior Consultant at McKinsey & Co., and was on the IDC Herzliya’s International Institute for Counter-Terrorism.
Maintaining his Israeli bar license, he earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Tel Aviv University and his Master’s Degree in Political Science, focusing on public & scientific policy from Haifa University. In 2014, Danino was awarded the Police Executive Research Forum prize.
