BUKY CARMELI

A decisive self-starter, Buky Carmeli is a hi-tech entrepreneur and founder with well over 30 years of experience leading sizeable C5I R&D teams. He has published several academic articles focusing on anti-forensic malware and the cyber arena and is the director of Terafence IoT Cyber Security.

Carmeli started his career as an officer at one of the IDF’s elite technological units (8-200). He founded and was the first Director-General of the Israeli National Cyber Security Authority and headed the Cyber Security Division at the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Later, he became the CEO of Sphera Systematic Hedge Fund, the most prominent Israeli hedge fund management group.

Carmeli received his B.Sc. in Electronics and Computing from Ben Gurion University and has comprehensive knowledge in parallel and supercomputing engineering.
